Why I don’t drink

If all those drinking and driving public service messages weren’t enough, know that if you get drunk and pass out on the bathroom floor your friends will shave a smiley face in your ass.
The lowest requirement of labour with the minimum requirement of technology.

Fact #1: Friday evening saw Najib, along with his sister, winning the first prize in the group category of the DBS Idol (yes you read that right) singing competition. Congratulations to him!
Fact #2: On Saturday, upon finding his plastic fork broken, Najib feared the worst and thought that he might have swallowed parts of the fork. In order to determine whether or not he had unknowingly swallowed plastic bits, he broke off part of the fork and put it in his mouth. He then came to the conclusion that he would probably have noticed if he had in fact swallowed bits of a plastic fork.
True story folks.

The latest advertisements for DC Shoes in the US features James Lipton, the host for Inside the Actor’s Studio conducting “interviews” with various DC team skateboarders, BMXers and surfers including Dave Mirra and Danny Way, the guy who made history by jumping the Great Wall of China on a skateboard and described in the commercials as being to skateboarding what the pharoah Tutankhamen was to ancient Egypt. What on Earth does that mean? Who knows?
Lipton’s got a decent sense of humour, as anybody who’s watched Arrested Development can tell you, and he does a great job here sending up his own persona. Funny stuff. Watch all the videos at the DC shoes website.

Hello, it’s me, Najib! I’m doing Najib things and living the Najib life.
Actually, since Najib hasn’t been doing his thing for awhile now I decided to write something anyway just to rack up the post count. I’ve watched the past two episodes of Rock Star INXS on Star World and I thought I’d post my thoughts.

Azmi and I were talking about this on Saturday so I thought it might be nice to put it up for those of you who haven’t already seen this. For the record, the first answer is from Ken Jennings, currently the record holder for having the longest winning streak on Jeopardy!
A post on snopes (scroll to the bottom of the page for the post) claims that Jennings himself used to post on Television Without Pity and confessed that he knew that was the wrong answer but he couldn’t resist.
Interestingly, Jennings has a list of his favourite movies from 1921-2003, listed by year, online, which you can see here.
Hopefully I can post the reason why we were talking about hoes later this week.
Oh, and if you really don’t know what a ho is…
